Based on the report of the public relations office of Iran customs, the IT department of IRICA reported that during the mentioned period, the imports of our country reached 24 billion and 77 million dollars demonstrating a drop of 21.09 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
Moreover, during the past 7 months of current Iranian year, the volume of non- oil exports stood at 24 billion and 131 million dollars which decreased by 15.09 percent compared to the figures of the previous year.
During the mentioned period, the main non oil export items included petroleum gases and hydrocarbons in the form of gas, liquefied propane and pitch, and the main importers of Iranian goods were China, Iraq, UAE, India and Afghanistan respectively.
The main import items of our country consisted of corn for animal feeding with share of 3.38 percent, wheat other than for animals with share 2.13 percent, soy bean with 2.09 percent, and rice and soy bean meal with share of 1.84 percent each .These items were imported from China, UAE, South Korea, Turkey and India respectively.
